THE AUDIO SHOW TIES UP WITH CLASSIC FM RADIO

Following a very successful promotional campaign for their Spring High Fidelity Show the organizers of the AUDIO SHOW have recently agreed a joint marketing partnership with CLASSIC FM RADIO. This is yet another step towards greater exposure for this International show, not only in reaching real music lovers but also and most importantly attracting new visitors by promoting the magic of High End Audio. “ Using a top class and focused Radio Station like CLASSIC FM allows us to reach a far greater market but it also allows us to get a far more informative and up to date campaign onto the streets much closer to the show says the organizers. Our spring show also proved that people are travelling greater distances for events such as this that are so pure in their content and appeal. We are delighted at the tie up and look forward to working with them”

This means that the amplifier and dock elements are built into a single piece chassis, thereby providing an elegant and high impact design. The specification has been uplifted to include 2 pairs of source inputs (plus the iPod dock), a remote control which handles volume and tonal changes for all three sources, (plus all the iPod functionality) and a huge increase in power to 25w per channel. The brand new 6 PerspeX deck looks no different at first glance. There's the stylish, transparent, acrylic plinth, the substantial, non-resonant platter and a the carbon fibre, single piece tonearm. Perhaps the most eye-catching technology is the magnetic suspension, which allows the turntable and arm to be mounted on a sub-chassis that floats above the plinth thanks to three pairs of aligned magnets. The new Pro-ject 9cc Evolution tonearm is here too, fashioned from a single piece of carbon fibre in an effort to ensure the highest possible build quality and overall rigidity. All this technology, and plenty more besides...

First public appearance of the Thorens Jubilee Turntable - Visit Thorens in Syndicate 10

The Jubilee features two independent tonearm platforms while four individually adjustable feet with integrated "RDC 6s" compound are taking care of a most solid foothold. The platter of the Jubilee is driven by a synchronous motor via an internal, flat precision belt. This turntable is to be manufactured in strictly limited batches and will therefore become the most exclusive Thorens turntable of all times. The first units will be delivered to customers this year.

Reduced to the absolute necessary whilst concentrating upon the essentials - this is the new Thorens Mini. An entirely manual entry-level record player, which is barely larger than an LP. The Mini is delivered with pre-installed tonearm and pick-up cartridge for having it ready to play right after set-up.
